When I started my business, I set out to be an Independent Business Manager.
Everyone called me a virtual assistant, because that’s what the online space knows. I loved my clients, and they loved me.
They had total confidence in me. They knew I would never drop the ball, leave them hanging, or miss a deadline. It was so fulfilling to see that my slightly embarrassing nerdy traits – my love for organizing, and lists, and systems – made their lives so much better.
But after nonbillable time and the costs of running my own business, I had to face the truth – after all was said and done, I was making less than minimum wage.
Since I left that world behind, I’ve become even more passionate about fixing everything that’s broken about virtual assistant-client relationships.
Entrepreneurs are being ghosted by virtual assistants who drop the ball after thinking being a VA is an easy side gig.
Virtual assistants are trying to support clients who are praying for a mind reader because they don’t have the systems for a team. And we’ve already talked about how hard it can be to make the numbers work.
There has to be a better way.
Our clients are visionary marketing experts selling high-ticket packages online. They are kind, ambitious, creative people with a big vision for their businesses. They started their businesses to create – to write, speak, consult, teach, and sell.
We’re there to help them build systems, learn how to delegate effectively, and hire a rock star. AND we want to help them design roles that are fulfilling and profitable for every member of their team. That’s where you come in.
